Women’s Governance Circles
A program dedicated to empowering women to take on leadership roles in peacebuilding and governance. This initiative includes mentorship, leadership training, and advocacy campaigns. CPG will also provide safe spaces for women to discuss governance issues, receive leadership development, and plan for advocacy.
Youth Peace Ambassadors Program
A nationwide initiative designed to train young leaders who will mediate conflicts, promote peace, and educate communities on governance and accountability. These ambassadors will become catalysts for positive change within their communities, actively promoting electoral reforms and democratic practices.
Community Accountability Forums (CAF)
Town-hall-style forums that bring together community members, civil society organizations, and local leaders to discuss governance issues, electoral challenges, public service delivery, and combat corruption. These forums create a direct and open line of communication between citizens and decision-makers, fostering greater transparency and accountability.
Digital Civic Education & Advocacy Campaign – “My Vote, My Future”
A digital advocacy campaign using interactive media, documentaries, and interviews to mobilize citizens for electoral reform, raise awareness about their rights, and encourage active participation in governance. This campaign will also emphasize the importance of accountability and transparency in Somalia’s political process.
Civic Engagement Through Art & Storytelling
Utilizing the power of storytelling, poetry, and creative arts, CPG will engage communities in spreading messages of peace, governance, and civic responsibility. By leveraging culturally relevant art forms, this program aims to reach diverse audiences, particularly those at the grassroots level.
Climate Resilience for Peace
A program that integrates climate-smart practices such as sustainable agriculture and resource management with conflict resolution strategies to address climate-induced challenges. This initiative promotes environmental governance as a means to reduce resource-based conflicts and build community resilience.
